I have such a love-hate relationship with The Sims 3. I finally decided to try out Ambitions yesterday, so I made a sim for the purpose of trying out the "inventing" path ~~FOR SCIENCE!~~

And I ended up creating a ~~grey TARDIS~~ time machine. That's... kinda neat, too bad it's just a rabbit hole and you can't direct them to do anything.

So anyway, at one point she got married, and I realized you can "whohoo" (ah sims PC terms) in the time machine in the past and the present. I decided, what the heck, and whohooed in the past and everything. Realizing it was faster than doing it in the bed (... what am I saying?) I decided to always use that, including to "try for baby" in the past. No biggie right?

So a day after "trying for baby" in the past, I was about to try again since it seemed like it failed 'cause she wasn't pregnant. But before that, a third character window suddenly popped up, and I got a system message.

"Mother, Father, I'm home! This is a much better place than that cave you left me in!"

And out of nowhere, a fully grown adult woman in medieval clothing pops out of the SIMDIS *shot for bad pun*. And yes, she's biologically related to both my sims. ~~And she wants to be the BEST FIREFIGHTER EVAR!~~

I think my face was stuck like o______________________0 for a good five minutes.

Elia: Holy crap, we messed up the space-time continuum badly this time! I don't even remember being pregnant!

Husband: Okay, we're never whohooing in the time machine ever again!!!

Elia: Exacly! .......... soooooo, what would happen if we tried for a kid in the future instead?

Husband: ... want to find out?

Elia: HELL YEAH!

Holly: BEST FIREFAITHAR EVAR!

The sims 3 is some messed up game.
WHY ON EARTH WOULD SOMEBODY "WHOHOO" IN A TIME MACHINE?

I guess that option exists for those who want a new sim without going to the hassle of raising it up since babyhood :p .

Dude... this is a game where everyone tried to figure out the best and craziest ways to kill sims, how to make their lives a living hell, and various ways to turn them into abominations fir the lulz.

True, but I have a feeling this is one of those hidden secret things they love to put in the game XD I wonder if you could get an elder then.

No, but I can build one... well, a robot, but close enough.

I also have three elder kids now, Angelique, Colin, and Alfred... I might have tried a bit too hard here. I was expecting them sooner, so I tried three times because nothing happened... apparently, I had to wait a bit longer o.o What am I gonna do with all of them?

I need a bigger house.

Ah, you're making me want to play Sims 3 again.
I remember that I once download a hack that unlocked special character traits. Then I created a very nasty kleptomaniac Sim.
I used to steal my neighbors stuff with him. He was pyromaniac too, so he frequently set his own house on fire with all the stolen objects :'( .

I also read a LJ post where a girl made Sims based on her favorite manga characters ;_; . It was so cool~ I thought about doing the same too, but finding the right hair and clothes is such a pain :x .

When was the last time?

Never played a klepto Sim yet. I did want to play a klepto gold digger though XD

~~Pff, I totally made a Sim!Prier and Sim!Croix, and they look awful.~~ I'm one of those player that don't download anything unless it's on the official site... and since now you have to pay, screw that.

Hun... I know a great site where you can download stuff. It's http://www.modthesims.info/index.php? I used it a lot to get cool hacks and awesome clothes and hair. I love that site :). Everything is free there but you have to register.
There are also programs that let you make your own hair and clothes but 3D modeling skills are necessary :< .
