Hmm, I think it's time for a LJ change. I've always neglected it, but I dunno, I feel like a cleanup.

New icons, new layout, new and way better name, maybe even change the username... maybe.

Should also do the same for my LJ journals.

In the meantime I'm waiting for Monday when we'll be bringing the computer to the store. We want to add RAM (and Dad sorta insisted that I'm not allowed to change it myself, just in case I end up making the thing blow up). Turns out that there is something wrong with it, we were supposed to have 1 GB of RAM, but everything keeps saying we only have 512 MB. So yeah, oops... might explain why recently it's been going worse and worse when I'm on this thing.

I'm going to assume that 1 GB of memory is split between two sticks. It's not uncommon to blow one memory stick and not the other (happened with my mom's laptop)

Yeah, it's split, that's what he told us.

It's weird because this is exactly what Nali had been telling me for possible reasons my computer has been acting weird. I just... sorta lost track of it until this afternoon when the conversation came up.

The thing is, the guy at the store didn't believe me when I told him we only had 512 MB, heck when I showed him the system info print out, the guy went livid! It was weird, then after looking like he was a lost kid for a minute, he started telling us it's impossible for it to go bad. \o.o/

Yeah, my dad was like that when he was looking at my mom's laptop. But I'm not sure, memory sticks can get fried if there's enough static in the air or something like that. I wouldn't say it's impossible, just very very unlikely. There could be a number of things that could make it go bad, from what little I know.
