taiga_amecaIt feels as if I haven't touched my fanfics in a long time. Well, I guess I really haven't.
Trio is still on hiatus and I haven't touched my La Pucelle fic for a month. The problem isn't that I haven't updated, it's that I just keep whining about the slow updates of the LP fandom… Does this make me a hypocrite?
Well anyway, I seem to have some problems with that fic… Paradox is starting to become hard to write.
Well, at least I managed to fix a few errors that I had in the plot. Prier was acting a bit OOC and I realized that a big canon no-no was going to happen. Finally, I entered these two problems into the plot, and in a way, it makes more sense then before. It strange how the answers are sometimes right there in front of you.
I started to work on a Phantom Brave fic too. I wanted to be the first one to post a PB fic in the Pit, but some guy beat me to it. Bah, it just proves that fanfiction isn't a contest… right?
And anyway, I have a great idea for a Disgaea fic. It takes place 2000 years after the game and it features adult versions of our demon trio. I was having fun imagining what they could look like as adults (unless it has already been establish in the extra books and such, then I'm sorry for the canon rape). For some odd reason though, my rendition of adult Flonne looked more like a mix between Alouette and Riona at first. Etna is the only one that really kept her style almost to 100 percent. I think it's because Etna is typecast in my head, she can never change. Laharl was hard because I wanted to keep the whole: "I don't care if I'm royalty, I dress like I want" attitude his style had, but… can you really picture a king with a bare chest and shorts, with the body of a 24 year old… But still I didn't want him to be a Mid-Boss clone… It's fun to see what type of weird things I can think of when I have nothing to do.
And of course… the cynic part of my brain started chanting: "You're only doing this to havea lemon scene between Flonne and Laharl together." Of course, after that, I tried to hit the cynic part of my brain… but well… punching yourself in the head is… not recommended, if you know what I mean…
Yes, it will be establish in my fic that these two are married, which caused my younger sister to hit me for daring to even hint that there might be something between these two… Hey, I've already compiled a detailed report on how Laharl/Flonne pairings might work if done properly (I'm looking at YOU ff.net Disgaea writers!) but then my sis told me that I should get a life and maybe a boyfriend while at it.
Bah, nothing can beat the last idea I had… Basically, a sequel to La Pucelle… about 100 years in the future, with Evangelion type stuff. Yep, La Pucelle, Eva-style. What the hell was I thinking? I even had to agree with the cynic part of my brain on the question of: "Why the hell would you use Evangelions to beat up demons and evil ex-humans who are about a thousand times smaller"… I guess the guys on![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
fanficrants were right, everything can be crossed over with either Eva or Harry Potter.
Maybe I should stop brainstorming so much, next I'll think up of something crazier… A .hack/Phantom Brave crossover? Shin Megami Tensei/Disgaea crossover… wait that could work… nah!
Maybe I need to find something to take Nippon Ichi off of my mind… *stares at her manga collection* so, what do we have here? Now, if Yuu Watase could finish Alice 19th…
