VICTORY GET!I've been working on some things for the CT/CC project and honestly, it's going better and better. I've manage to fix a bunch of unknowns and problems with the game flow. Basically: time traveling, game events, and journal posting. Heck, I even managed to make the journal postings relevant to the plot. *wink* Matter of fact, I'm finishing up the major planning. 8 pages of planning in Word as of right now. o.0 I'm seriously wondering if I'm not overdoing it a tad bit.
But, one of the main things to fix is still the plot. It's coming along, it seems to make more sense the more I try to write about it, so it's good. But, I'm still stuck. I'm just musing here because I'm not gonna spoil (TAIGA ISN'T SPOILING, CALL THE HOSPITALS, THE POLICE, THE PRESS, SOMETHING IS WRONG) The problem is, and this I'll tell you know, the basic startup plot is: LAVOS. Come on it's not a spoiler, it's like saying there's a giant monster in a Cloverfield RP <.<
The problem is, it's a bit BLAH. I mean whoopi doo, Lavos. Who didn't see it coming? I want to spice things up by having characters react differently to Lavos, like some thinking like Zeal and trying to protect or abuse the creature, stuff like that. But then again, I'm not controlling the players.
However, I can say that there's another part to the plot, and this one I'm keeping my mouth shut about it. This is important for the game plot. However, it borrows element from the two games. CT I'm good. Seriously, not to brag, but I was so obsessed with that game I became a living walkthrough at one point (not applicable anymore due to not having learned by heart the new additions of CTDS). CC on the other hand, I need to frequently check. One bad assumption and the whole plot could go out of the window.
Though, I'm really happy to say, this thing may just actually work.
Still gonna need more crew for this on the other hand.
