OOOOOOOH BOY.

So today has officially been the first time I've drove in a snow storm... it's been... special.

But I swear, it's always the same thing each year

*2 days prior to the first snow storm*

Boss: Okay guys, there's a snow storm coming, let's get those snow plows ready!

Snow plow workers: Sure thing.

*HUGE STORM*

Boss: What the... nothing is being done, there's snow on all roads! What are you doing?

SPW; ... deeeeeeeeerp, you mean we're supposed to do something? Oh right~


*sigh* You'd think they would eventually learn... and it's not like snow isn't common up here near winter either, geez.

I'm actually glad I had Japanese class tonight, because if I was going home, judging by how traffic was going, it would have taken me two hours for a normally 15 minute drive!

Hmm, I got the LP:R guide the other day... well now I feel dumb. Turns out there's FOUR endings for the Overlord path, not three.

This is a bit embarrassing, though, it makes you think. The game has been out for a year now? And everyone on gamefaqs that has the game and finished it said "Only three endings". And no one found anything else in the meantime... I guess it really didn't sell all that well.


But moving on to more important things, I wrote a drabble about post-Island, starring Prier. And MAJOR SHOCK, it has nothing to do with Kururu/Prier!

Eeeep, I managed to get signed up for the office Christmas Party (this is what happens when you ask me a question while I'm handling a sampling rush... yes, yes, yes--- wait, what did I just agree to?)

It should be fine... except I think it's supposed to be really formal... and of course, my most formal wear is actual somewhere between "At least you're not wearing jeans" and "if we squint, this counts as formal".

... I'm going to have to get a dress aren't I? *sob* I don't do formal very well...

So, Prier's the "Maiden of Darkness". But I remembered someone on the gamefaqs boards telling me that it was written differently from the "Maiden of Light" title. Basically, the last kanji was different. I went back to check, and it is.

Now, IIRC, Maiden of Light is given as 光の聖女.

Maiden of Darkness however is given as 闇の聖母, and not 闇の聖女. Basically 'woman' got replaced by 'mother'.

So, from what I could gather searching around 聖母 means "The Virgin Mary" or "Holy Mother"...


... well now...

I need to start writing again. I know it's NaNoWriMo this month, but I don't think I'll be able to pull it off, especially not with my current schedule.

Maybe I'll just start slow, until I can get back to a "good" level of writing. I'm kinda rusty and all, not having done anything in a while... unless you count those Kururu/Prier things me and CC have been tossing around like war declarations... XD

Well okay, it's all melted around here now, but we had our first snow on Saturday. It was a bit of a bummer since it was raining and then snowing while me and my friends were doing a Halloween ghost hunt in the Old Port, but it was still really fun.

And cold, wow. I actually took the "real" winter coat out earlier than usual this year. Usually, I'm still okay with my polar fleece around this time, but it's just not enough right now, though, this might be because I finish work at 8 PM now... and it's freakin' cold outside.

Ahem. Okay, I've kinda been "not there" for the past two weeks XD. Two words: Atelier Rorona. Yep, I'm just a tad bit obsessed with that game.

... so much that I totally forgot I had two reserves... oops. I should get right on that. Thankfully, Riz's app is going to be really small compared to pretty much all the other apps I ever did (horray for a game that doesn't have 500 tons of extra materials)

In other news...

- My entire neighborhood in under construction... it's getting ridiculous! I mean, they've been at it since the beginning of summer, and they still haven't finished a thing. Instead they start another project at another street. You know guys... some of us NEED to reach the highway...

- I had two weeks of Japanese class, and I can finally read nearly all hiraganas! ... next step, UNDERSTANDING just what the hell I'm reading. That's going to be the hard part... especially since I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the whole "no auxiliary verbs" thing. Sa va contre tout ce que je connais!!!

- NISA has pretty much confirmed that they won't be bringing LP:R over... extra confirmed when Lyner kinda came over to the board and said that the message was pretty clear. Though... it still pisses me off when they say "But we have a whole lot of other games coming out" Thanks for telling me what I should be playing, NISA. *not bitter, no*

- ... oops, Halloween event at Island, totally forgot.

- Speaking of Halloween... I THINK my friends are having a party that requires a costume. Crap... I never look good in those, especially since they're either ugly, not made for people that are overweight, or slutty (or all three at once). Considering last time I just walked around with a pair of sunglasses and a tape recorder with the crucial bit of the costume.... I'm gonna need an ACTUAL costume this year. Any ideas?

Possibly something that doesn't involve showing my cleavage... *stares at all the "standard" adult costumes in the shop...

My brain is also telling me I'm not allowed to make decisions on late night activities while I have a sinus infection anymore as it scrambles my judgment.

Players may have lots of reasons to express their disappointment to Final Fantasy XIV and now, Japanese players and those who want to play the Japanese version have one more reason to slam FFXIV(JP) and Square Enix. Players found that the iconic creature in FF series Chocobos was renamed to Horsebird in Japanese. That just made Japanese gamers mad and their protest did work. The official has made an apology and agreed to listen to gamers' suggestions.

Day 14: A song that no one would expect you to love

... Well, might as well go all out for this one.


One thing you need to know, I don't really listen to songs in French... so when I do listen to one, my friends are always surprised. This one, no one actually expected me to like that XD. And for some odd reason, I'm now associating this song with Kururu... why? Hell if I know.



I don't really like Incubus, but this song, I just love. I guess it just hits me in the right place.



This is not my type of song AT ALL... but damn if it isn't catchy as hell.
