(no subject)

Crap... what a week. I like lab work, but this is just insane. doing 7 AM to 9 PM once in a while is passable, but three times a week? DO NOT WANT ANYMORE. Sob.

And to top this, last Monday I got stuck working all alone in the lab and then BAM 60% pure Isopropanol in the eye. Had a fun time at the emergency room before going back to the lab until 10:30 PM. The worse part was, everyone kinda freaked at work the next day... but more over the fact that I used the eye shower then the fact I had BURNING ALCOHOL in my eye. I mean, WTF? It's scary when the entire lab is like "... you used the eye shower? AND YOU'RE NOT DEAD?!?" Okay, okay, they didn't say it like that, but it was the general feeling.

You just feel so safe around here now, huh?

But hey, I discovered that if you go to the emergency room because of a work related chemical burn, you get to cut the line~ ... and that there's a Dairy Queen 20 minutes from work! Yep, I have awesome priorities

On a better note, this means that there's only two weeks left to work. YEEEEEEEES, I get my life back...... which basically involves me trying to find a new RP to try. Haha, I kinda have this weird, lame, life.
