May. 12th, 2007 11:35 pmWow, here I thought I was going to be able to on WiFi just by getting the adaptor. WRONG!
Three hours, three pros in computer, and five pieces of cake later...
Conclusion: "No matter what we do, it won't get an IP adress, no WiFi for you... unless we hack the modem and completely refigure the connection *insert techno blabble here*."
asjvkfb It's a goddamn DS! Why does connecting a DS take all this trouble!? At least it's apparently fixable... if I was a computer nerd and had one week to spare to connect it.
But at least I know it's my internet providers fault. It's like the largest one in Canada and it screws around in the modems it sends you (apparently) so you only have ultra limited access. My sis' boyfriend told me he had to call Bell because he wanted to play some online game and the connection kept refusing and they said: "Our internet connection is not for playing online games"
... WTF?!
