That's unless it takes you am hour to figure out what the foreign word IS... which is especially embarrassing when your first language is in said foreign word.

Okay, so the first town was written as "Ku-Ro-Ke (Tsu - To)" Town/Village. Now, for the first ten minutes I drew a blank 'cause, there's no such thing as a Kuroke in French. So, I figured it was Japanese for something... but found it weird it was in katakana. So, I looked around a bit and figured out it would mean "Black hair" or "Black house" village (proooobably the second one though)

Okay, so I move on to another place, and it becomes clear that the second place is called "vinaigre" or vinegar in English. ~~Thank you Chrono Trigger!~~ So I kinda thought that maybe that Kuroke really was supposed to be something French again.

Cue me trying every pronounciation just to figure it out until finally...

Hoarse neck?

... huh? That doesn't sound right... Who says 'hoarse neck' anyway? Hoarse throat or stiff neck, sure, but 'hoarse neck'?

But in any case, not sure I would like to live in a place called "Hoarse Neck Village"
